Every glass has the very best of Australia in it; our ingredients, our climate and our innovative attitude. Produced using bespoke 100% malted Australian barley. Australian shiraz cask maturation individually selected and re-coopered to take advantage of the highly variable Melbourne climate. Each bottle has a unique code enabling ultimate traceability and exclusivity.

Fortis, coming from the Latin meaning ‘bold’ or ‘brave’, brings the intensity. It’s one of the highest proof bottlings STARWARD have ever done. Batch produced, non chill filtered and aged 100% in American Oak casks predominantely from the Barossa Valley, Fortis is a true reflection of the STARWARD signature style. With the toasty oak and vanilla flavour from American Oak, and the juicy red wine profile from the shiraz and cabernet wine barrels, the boldness of Fortis beckons.
